MGTO Relaunches Free Ferry & Bus Tickets for Foreign Visitors Arriving in Hong Kong

The Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) has announced the relaunch of its program offering free one-way ferry and direct bus tickets to Macau for foreign visitors arriving in Hong Kong. This initiative aims to encourage tourists to extend their journey to Macau, enhancing the region’s appeal as a travel destination.

 

Program Details:

  • Ferry Services: The program includes free one-way tickets on ferry services operated by TurboJET  Cotai Water Jet
  • Direct Bus Services: Foreign visitors arriving at Hong Kong International Airport can avail free direct bus tickets from the airport’s SkyPier Terminal to Macau via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HZMB). Travelers need to present valid travel documents and boarding passes at designated counters in the airport’s restricted area.

Duration: The program commences on May 1, 2025, and will run until the end of the year.

Previous Success: In its previous iteration last year, the program successfully attracted over 310,000 foreign tourists to Macau from Hong Kong between February and December.
